Student Teaching Prerequisites: Formal Admission to Teacher Education (F.A.T.E.), documentation of Praxis II trial, completion of required major coursework with “C” or better and completion of Pre- Professional Experiences (PPE’s)
Graduation Requirement: Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

 Requires Formal Admission to Teacher Education (FATE)

GPA Requirement: Students must maintain the required GPA in accordance with the criteria for formal admission to the teacher education program. Students must attain a C or better in all required KIN major coursework.  Please see the Educator Preparation Programs section in the catalog.

Note: Students also must have the following:

  •  Documentation of Praxis II trial.

  • Field clearances required (child abuse, criminal record check, FBI fingerprinting, and TB test).
