Students are strongly encouraged to take PSY 245 as early as possible.

Students enrolled in PSY 410 for the first, second, or third time will earn credit towards the Psychology major (up to 9 credits). If a student chooses to enroll in PSY 410 for a fourth or fifth time, credits will count as free electives (up to 6 credits). These credits will count toward the 120 credits graduation requirement, but not count towards the major requirements.

Accelerated B.S. in Psychology to M.S. in Psychology - Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program

Any Psychology major with a 3.25 PSY GPA or higher and a B or better in PSY 245, PSY 246, and PSY 265 who has completed at least 60 credits can apply to the Accelerated B.S. to M.S. program in Psychology - Industrial/Organizational Psychology Concentration. Students will be required to submit two letters of recommendation and a writing sample to be considered for the accelerated program. Accepted students may substitute up to 15 credits of graduate coursework in Industrial-Organizational Psychology to satisfy elective requirements for the B.S in Psychology. Those credits will also apply towards the M.S. program in Psychology - Industrial/Organizational Psychology Concentration.
