Undergraduate Certificate in Early Intervention
The Undergraduate Certificate in Early Intervention will prepare students to work with young children (birth to age five) who have a disability, are at-risk for developmental challenges, or have developmental delays. Specific emphasis will be placed on evidence-based practices, family-centered approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration among different professionals. The curriculum is comprised of both coursework and field experiences with infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) and young children (ages 3 to 5).
