GEO 204 is a recommended general education course: fulfills Interdisciplinary and Diverse Communities General Education requirements. Transfer and change-of-major students may use other courses with advisor consent.

Geography majors must take GEO 400 (Writing Emphasis course). GEO 310, GEO 352, PLN 301 and ENG 368/ENG 371 are recommended Writing Emphasis courses.

Geography majors must take GEO 400 (Speaking Emphasis course). GEO 332, GEO 333, and PLN 214 are also recommended.

Accelerated B.S. in Geography - Business Concentration to M.S. in Geography Program

Any B.S. in Geography - Business Concentration major with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA who has completed at least 60 credits can apply to the Accelerated B.S. in Geography - Business Concentration to M.S. in Geography program.  Accepted students may substitute up to 12 graduate credits of graduate coursework from the M.S. Geography program to satisfy course requirements for the B.S. in Geography - Business Concentration. These credits will also apply toward the M.S. in Geography program.
