This course is designed to gain an understanding of the function of the jazz bass in the jazz ensemble.

ASC 296. Guitar Class II. 0.5 Credits.

This course is designed for students majoring in Music Therapy. In this elective course, students will continue to develop their functional guitar skills beyond ASC 196, skills which are applicable to music therapy settings. Students will learn how to incorporate fundamentals of playing the acoustic guitar with singing. Transposition and rhythmic skills are emphasized.
Pre / Co requisites: ASC 296 requires a prerequisite of ASC 196.
