Minor in Biology
Students must complete a minimum of six credits of advanced standing coursework in their minor.*

A grade of C- or better is required in all courses; however, to graduate with a Minor in Biology students must maintain a GPA of 2.00 in the minor courses.

BIO 100 must be passed with a grade of A- or better. BIO 110 must be passed with a C- or better.

Advanced Standing coursework includes BIO 269, BIO 277, and any BIO course that is 300 or above.

Students may take BIO 204 or BIO 214 towards the minor, not both. Students may choose to take either BIO 468 or BIO 469 towards the minor, not both. BIO 391, BIO 392, BIO 490, BIO 491, and BIO 492 cannot count towards the minor.
*Advanced standing coursework is defined as any 300-level course or above and specific 200-level courses identified by the department.
